Duane C. Service, 86 of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Bayfront Health-Port Charlotte.
Duane was born May 18, 1935 in Rio Blanco County near Meeker, Colorado to the late James Frank and Eleanor Margaret (Kugler) Service.  Duane moved to Port Charlotte in 1985 from Blackfoot, Idaho.  He was a retired Pastor of a Christian School in Blackfoot, Idaho.  He attended New Day Christian Church of Port Charlotte.
Survived by his loving family, his wife of 61 years, Karlene L. Service of Port Charlotte; three daughters, Kimberly Wilkinson of Port Charlotte, Kristi Nowrouzi of Altamonte Springs, FL, and Aimee DeLeo of Ellenville, NY; two sons, Kevin Service of Clarks Summit, PA and Scott Service of St. Peters, MO; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorial services celebrating Duane’s life will be held Saturday 11:00 AM, July 31, 2021 at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
