I purchased 34 Carl Avenue in Brockton in 1985 and see the Diegoli name every day in the occupancy permit that is still tacked to the pillar in the basement in the area where Mr. Diegoli Sr sold his plumbing parts. I am the daughter of a plumber, a member of Boston Plumber's Union 12 for 45 years. When I came to look at the house before purchasing it, my Dad did the inspection and convinced me to buy the house. It was the cast-iron baseboard heat!! I think I am only the fourth owner - Diegoli, Davidson, Wolf, and now Smith. Although I never met anyone from your family, I feel that we have a connection and was sad to learn of Edward Jr's death. The Lessard family -- Ray Lessard, the electrician - still live next door at 26 Carl Ave and we were just talking about the history of the house today, the former owners, etc. as we enjoyed 4th of July iced tea. So we will all here in Brockton keep you all in our prayers. Lynn Smith
