Edward “Eddie” Harrison Struebing, IV, 45, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2024, while at his Port Charlotte home with his parents Skip and Rachel Struebing at his side.
Eddie was born on Saturday, September 9, 1978 in Jacksonville, Florida, but was a longtime resident of Charlotte county, graduating from Charlotte High School in 1998.
In addition to his parents Skip and Rachel, he is also survived by brothers Steve and Ben Struebing, who loved him deeply. In their words, “Ed was the Man!”
A private celebration gathering will be held by the Struebing family.

I can remember when my Mother died in the hospital Eddie was so kind to me and comforted me when I was crying. Eddie such a beautiful man..I loved him.I saw him grow up..I even took care of him in nursery...I will miss him...Anthony and him skateboarded together all the time and lifted weights together..Sweet Eddie I will miss that sweet smile..
