Greg Kelly & Family left a message on February 16, 2023:
Lilly had a tremendous impact on my life and the lives of our entire family. We will miss your kindness and love which is forever etched in our hearts. When Kitty passed away, you, uncle John, and Dad selflessly stepped in to make sure we would be ok. You made your big sister beyond proud! Countless Thanksgivings in Norwood and Christmas gatherings at 14 Sydney Street will live in my memory forever. I loved going to Prince Edward Island to visit and stay at Frank Costello’s. He put me to work and you and John always got a kick out of it! I will also cherish you and John coming to see me graduate the United States Marine Corps Drill Instructor School in San Diego. It was a pivotal moment in my life and it meant the world to me that you were there. Your two Great Nieces will never forget the art projects you made together and special holiday and birthday dinners. After 3 years of being by your side, you are now dancing and of course signing in Heaven with Johnnie. Love you Auntie Lilly, Greggie, Stacey, Darraugh and Savin

Harry, Beatrice, Peter ,Daniel, Harold Connolly from Cork Ireland Send our sincere condolences on the passing of Lilly my beloved sister . Lilly was my older sister by one year and left Ireland as a young girl and made a home in America with her husband John Costello also deceased. It saddens me deeply that I can’t attend her Catholic funeral as I have a medical condition but I know that all of the Connolly in Cork will remember Lilly in their prayers and we know that Lilly will be in heaven as she was a true Christian RIP

Lilly was a beautiful person inside and out. I remember her singing when I was a small child living in Dorchester. She had a sweet angelic voice. Lilly was a loving aunt to all of us. May she rest in eternal peace with John and all of her family.
