Emelia was born to Aloysious and Emelia Pierce on February 3, 1943 in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to Port Charlotte 10 years ago from Whitehouse, NJ. Emelia was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Jack; her daughter, Jennifer (William) Flynn of Port Charlotte; her son, Joseph (Jennifer) Jurisko of Port Charlotte; a sister, Lucille Henyecz of North Port, FL; 2 brothers, Aloysious Pierce of Hillsborough, NJ and Arthur Pierce of Delaware; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John Jurisko.
Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. A Graveside service and interment will be held at a later date in Whitehouse, New Jersey.
