Ethel M. (Nurse) Green, 94, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Nurse was born January 14, 1919 in Panama and moved to Port Charlotte in 1995 from Chicago, Illinois. Ethel was a member of El-Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle in North Port, FL. She was a register nurse for 40 years and a nursing supervisor for Percy Junor Hospital in Jamaica. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be remembered by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her daughters, Vangie Morgan of Punta Gorda, FL, Jean Green-Blair of Port Charlotte, Marion Green of NY, NY and Vivia Green of Chicago, IL; a son, Richard Green of St. Louis, MO; her step-daughter, Hyacinth Baker of Jamaica; step-sons, George Green of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and John Green of Port Charlotte and Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 10:00AM, Friday, September 27, 2013 at El Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, 4814 Chamberlain Blvd. North Port, FL 34286. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, Florida.
