Eugene was born to Walter and Frances Camara on December 5, 1947 in East Providence, Rhode Island. He was a top salesman for ArmChem International Corp. for many years. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was an avid jokester for those who knew him. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Kam; his son, Justin Camara of Concord, CA and 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 1:00PM-2:00PM, Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date at Gates of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in East Providence, RI.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.

We at HD Supply Waterworks were all saddened by the news of Gene passing.
I have known Gene for 10+ years and it was always a pleasure to see him.
Gene was one of few sales people that serviced his customers religiously.
Gene knew how busy we were and would check himself to see if we needed anything.
He will be missed by HD Supply Waterworks, Ft Myers and by me personally.

Gene, I loved it when you would pay me a visit at work. First, you would chit chat with our receptionist in German, then we would talk about the Yankees, you would make fun of me for being a GB Packer fan, and then out came the jokes with all of the different accents. During all this, if my plant engineer came in to my office, you would talk to him in Spanish. You were a man of many talents. but your best talent was being a good friend. I will miss you.
Kam, Justin, and family, I am so sorry for your loss and for not making the services as I was out of town when Gene passed. A man like him is a one in a million. I feel so lucky to have known him.
