EUGENE M. HINZE, 92, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Harbour Health Center, Port Charlotte.

He was born January 24, 1921 in Aurora, Indiana to the late Rudolph and Anna Hinze. Mr. Hinze was the retired owner and operator of Runge Foundry Cost Systens. In 1990 he moved to Port Charlotte from Lehigh Acres, Florida with his late wife of 67 years Mary Imogene Hinze, who died in 2007. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Port Charlotte.

He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Rose June Stuhler Hinze of Port Charlotte; three daughters, Eloise J. Brandes of Mansfield, OH, Rosemary J. Short of Bigfork, MT and Virginia J. Gibbs of Jonesboro, GA a son, Kenneth Hinze of Linden, MI; a sister, Gertrude M. Jiede of Oviedo, FL; a brother, Ralph W. Hinze of Punta Gorda, FL; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two step children, Linda and Scott Carpientair of Port Charlotte
and two step grandchildren

There will be a memorial mass 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte
