August 7, 2006 at Charlotte Regional Medical Center, Punta Gorda.
She was born June 9, 1912 to Frank and Nellie Thornburg in New Castle,
Indiana and moved to Punta Gorda in 1969 from Dayton, Ohio. She was a graduate
of Ball State College, Muncie, Indiana.
She is survived by her loving family, three daughters, Linda Slack of
New Castle, Delaware, Rebecca (Jerry) Erickson of Port Charlotte and Teresa
(Greg) Tubbs of Port Charlotte; a son, Larry L. (Jayne) Cory of Sarasota;
11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents,
her first husband, Harold Cory, her second husband, Floyd Kidder and a son,
Delbert Cory.
