Fannie Fileman
March 29, 1932 - January 13, 2009

Fannie Fileman, 76, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. Fannie was born March 29, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1980 from Freeport, NY.
She was a retired office manager for Port Charlotte Care Center and was a active volunteer for C.A.R.E. Center for abuse & Rape Emergencies in Charlotte County and Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. She was of Jewish faith.

Survived by her loving husband, Henry Fileman, Jr. of Port Charlotte;Two daughters, Dr. Sharon Hilda Ulanoff of Los Angeles, CA and Mara-Lynne
Brenner of Bridgeport, CT; a stepdaughter Deborah Baker of Magalia, CA;Two step sons, Richard Fileman of Orville, CA and Scott Fileman of Fort Myers;
Fannie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother of seven grandchildren and will
be missed very much.

There will be a memorial service 3:00 PM Sunday, January 25, 2009
At Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Rabbi Solomon Agin will Officiate.

Fanny will be missed by many....I had the opportunity to be part of a very special lady's life, Fanny was the kindest person, she had a heart of gold...Every week when i did he hair i would spin her around and like clock work she would say...' i look gorgeous'..She was an amazing lady...She also was very much in love with Harry and i alway's admired that in her....I could tell some very funny stories only her hair dresser know's...But i won't go there...Lol.I will miss her terribly, as well will many! To my family of cousins-her daughters,and also her husband Henry-aka..Harry,I am in complete disbelief and pure shock over the passing of Aunt Fannie-nearly 2 weeks to the day my father-her brother suddenly died.That was hard enough and I am still dealing with that as we speak,I am truly sorry to hear this and mourn your loss along with you.She was a very giving and caring Aunt and sister to my father.She was always smiling and kidding,and mostly loving to her family.My father and my Aunt-again his sister along with their brother and parents are now finally reunited in Heaven,happy and healthy,still with us in spirit and looking out and over us..Goodbye to a wonderful Aunt-please know we will miss you & tell my dad also,I will miss and love you forever.

What a great Aunt she was to me and my brother Eliot who reside in Belleair Bluffs FL in the greater Tampa Bay area. She was also a very loving kind person to her late but great brother Morris Mike Levy who preceded her in death on 12/28/08 at his home in Largo Florida(Eliot and Ira's great father). Heaven needed an angel and her brother called her home so they can be in eternal peace again with their mother and father and brother as well. She will be missed greatly and will be loved by everyone and never forgotten by anyone.
