Fannie Fileman, 76, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. Fannie was born March 29, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1980 from Freeport, NY.
She was a retired office manager for Port Charlotte Care Center and was a active volunteer for C.A.R.E. Center for abuse & Rape Emergencies in Charlotte County and Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. She was of Jewish faith.
Survived by her loving husband, Henry Fileman, Jr. of Port Charlotte;Two daughters, Dr. Sharon Hilda Ulanoff of Los Angeles, CA and Mara-Lynne
Brenner of Bridgeport, CT; a stepdaughter Deborah Baker of Magalia, CA;Two step sons, Richard Fileman of Orville, CA and Scott Fileman of Fort Myers;
Fannie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother of seven grandchildren and will
be missed very much.
There will be a memorial service 3:00 PM Sunday, January 25, 2009
At Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Rabbi Solomon Agin will Officiate.
