Born Frances LoFaso May 22, 1945 in Queens, New York, to John and Sarah LoFaso, Frances and her husband, James Anthony Bono, Jr., moved from their longtime home of West Islip on Long Island, NY, to Punta Gorda where they wintered many years until becoming fulltime residents in early 1991. Frances was Roman Catholic.
She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, James; a daughter, Michelle R. (Husband Peter) Keller; two grandchildren, granddaughter Allie Keller, and grandson Joshua Keller; her mother, Sarah LoFaso, and many extended family members and friends. Frances was preceded in death by her father John.
A Committal service with inurnment to follow will be held 1:30 P.M. this Friday, March 28, 2014 at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. A Celebration of Frances’s life and gathering will follow at 5:00 P.M. at Bridge Point Condominiums Unit F13 on Coldeway Drive in Punta Gorda Isles.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel.
