Francine M. Doyle, 72, passed away on Tuesday April 25, 2023, at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida.

She was born in Cranston, RI, to the late Charles R. and Florence (Sharples) Patenaude in June of 1950. She was a RN for over 40 years.

She is survived by son Paul A. Patenaude and Fiancée Kerri Souza of Cranston, RI , Grandchildren Sophia Patenaude, Emma Lambert, Guilianna Johnson. Sierra Johnson and Hunter Dulong. She is also Survived by siblings Denise Williams, Michelle Patenaude, Richard Patenaude, Donna Ugarte, Linda Jacoby, and Susan Friedler. She is survived by many close friends especially William Dulong. She was preceded in death by her husband Terence Doyle.

My deepest condolences to Fran’s family and friends. Fran and I met in the 5th grade and we went to high school together as well. I will always remember her mondo hairstyle and her beautiful gentle nature. She sat behind me in many classes and we would joke about how on earth we would survive nursing school if we had to know Latin. She was a good friend in school, and it was lovely to meet her again at my first Red Hat meeting years ago. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her kind and sweet nature. She and I shared the goal of becoming a nurse, and Fran made her dream come true. It was in her nature to care for others as evidenced years later when she jumped in to take care of Bill’s grandchildren. She gave her all to her friends and family, and I still remember her son Paul coming over to help her with a Red Hat dinner at her home. She will be sorely missed in the days/years ahead. I’m so saddened to hear of my friend Fran’s passing. We were high school friends,worked together and spent our 50 High School reunion together .Fran had a beautiful spirit everyone loved her. Rest in peace my friend.
