Gary J. Zullo, 61, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died peacefully Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Port Charlotte.

Gary was born April 21, 1952 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to Frank and Dorothy Zullo. Gary moved to Port Charlotte from his native New Jersey in 1972. He joined the Charlotte County Sherriff’s Office later retiring from Law Enforcement and then working for local Publix Supermarkets as Deli Manager.

Gary is survived by his wife, Sally M. Zullo; a son, Gary J. Zullo, Jr., and grand-daughter, Katelyn Zullo, all of Port Charlotte; and his mother, Dorothy Zullo of Arizona. Gary was preceded in death by his father Frank, and a brother, Barry Zullo.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. this Wednesday, February 5, 2014 with Funeral services Thursday, Feb. 6 at 11:00 A.M., both at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte chapel. Committal will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens cemetery in Port Charlotte, FL.

Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Charlotte Chapel.
