Geraldine B. Kahn, 85, of Rotonda West, Florida passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Tidewell Hospice Inc. in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Geraldine was born May 31, 1928 in Englewood, New Jersey. She and her husband moved to Florida from Brick, NJ. Geraldine enjoyed life to the fullest particularly country line dancing. She was an avid painter and enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Lester; 2 daughters, Jane (Edward) Pasick of Windermere, FL and Cheryl (Jeffrey) Turner of Vernon, NJ; 3 sons, Seymour Kahn of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, Stuart (Diana) Kahn of Madison, GA and Edward Kahn of Scotch Plains, NJ; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 2 sons, Brian and Bruce Sylvester and a brother, James Brady.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00AM, Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Inurnment will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida at a later date by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc. 5595 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, Florida 34238.
