Grazyna B. Wojdalski, 73, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Village Place Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Port Charlotte.
Grazyna was born to Stanislaw and Genowefa Skowron on October 11, 1951 in Blonie, Poland. In 1973, Grazyna married her husband, Andrzej. She was an accountant in Poland and in 1984 her husband went to Bolivia to look for gold while she and her daughter stayed home. In 1989, the family decided to move to America to live in New Jersey. Grazyna and Andrzej opened a restaurant in the 1900’s. Grazyna later got a factory job as an analyst. In 2000, the family moved to Colonia, New Jersey. She and her husband loved to go to Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City. When Andrzej passed away, she sold her home in New Jersey. She stayed in N.J. because she was so good at her job and they couldn’t find anyone to replace her. She later moved to Florida in 2015 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. In 2015, She moved to Port Charlotte, Fl. She was notorious for striking wildlife on the highways as they crossed the roads. She was not used to animals running in front of her and once running over an alligator in the middle of the road. She retired in 2020 and opened her own award-winning food truck called, “Graces Taste of Poland”. She made 1,000 pierogis a week and peeled 100 potatoes and onions. She won awards for best in Florida in 2023 and 2024 and was awarded in 2023 best dill pickled soup in Port Charlotte. She won 1st place in 2022 and 2023 for best food truck and judges best choice 2nd place in 2024 and war of the food trucks crowd choice award in 2023 and war of the food trucks most valuable truck. Grazyna loved to garden and was very good at it; so much that her neighbors often visit so they can see her gardens. Grazyna was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Roxanne Wojdalski; her sister, Bogumila Nalepa and her 2 grandchildren, Sandra Siurek and Damian Siurek.
A visitation will be held 1:00PM-2:00PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00PM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
