We had the honor and privilege of getting to know our beloved "Gunvant kaka" for the first time when we visited Bhadreshbhai and Pritibhen and their family in Bradenton. We were touched by Gunvant kaka's kind, gentle and unassuming nature and he was so spontaneous with his characteristic radiant smile in sharing his vast and interesting worldly experiences with us, making us feel so comfortable and part of his family. We were anxiously planning to be with him and his family during the up coming holidays to recapture and rekindle the pleasant memories of our first meeting. Alas,we are deeply saddened by his sudden passing away and we are going to miss him very much for years to come. -Bala

I was sad to get the email about Dr. Desai's passing. When I came here to work in 1999, he was one of the first physicians I met and was very gracious and welcoming to me. He always had a smile and a gentle way about him. He was a great representation of what a doctor should be and was missed when he retired and even more with his untimely death. Love and prayers to his family.
