Guy Harley Willett, 97, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his home in Punta Gorda.

Guy was born to Guy A. and Sadie Willett on August 1, 1920 in St. Albans, Vermont and moved to Punta Gorda in 1986 from Miami, Florida. Guy was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was an avid wood worker for many years. He enjoyed sailing and square dancing. Guy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Anne R.M. Willet; 4 daughters, Eileen (Thomas) Donlan of Melbourne Beach, FL, Jane (Simon) Lohmeier of Jupiter, FL, Patricia (Pat) Graff–Risinger of Houston, TX, Paula (Gerald) Anderson of Citrus Springs, FL and a step-daughter, Sheryl Johnston of Vermont; his son, Robert Willett of Yucca Valley, CA and his step-son, Stephen Myers of Vermont; 9 grandchildren, Karen, Ellen, Mary Alice, Nathan, Patrick, Rebecca, Travis, Kyle and Sarah ; 7 great-grandchildren, Haley, Victoria, Addison, Matthew, Conor, Adrian and Brady and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 1^st wife, Mary Lamphier Willett and his sister, Juanita Perron.

Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Roberson Funeral Home Punta Gorda Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM, Monday, September 25, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Interment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
