Helen was born March 29, 1929 in New York, New York to the late Harry E. and Anna (Scheurle) Smith. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1986 from New York with her husband Saul. Helen was a retired salesperson for Sears and a member of “Take Off Pounds Sensibly” T.O.P.S. where she as a leader for 5 years.
Survived by her loving family, her husband of 41 years, Saul E. Krayanek of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Donna Izzo of Rotonda, FL and Helise Sanborn of Atlanta, GA; three sons, Steven Kern of Asheville, NC, Brett Krayanek of Gulf Breeze, FL and Keith Dalonega, GA; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00 PM, November 18, 2021 at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM Thursday until service time. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL.
