Henrietta Elza Osinga, 98, of North Port, Florida died Friday, July 27, 2018 at
Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte.

Henrietta was born July 7, 1920 in Amsterdam, Holland to the late Vanderlubbe and Aafia (Treffers) Gerard. She moved to Florida in 1981 from Dale City, Virginia.  Member of St. Paul’s Presbyerian Church of North Port.

She is survived by her loving family, two daughters, Ellen Marjorie Holbert of Port Charlotte, FL and Miriam Spenner of Fredericksburg, VA; two sons, Jonathan G. (Peggy) Osinga of North Port and Peter Osinga of Fairfax, VA; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hendrik J. Osinga and a son, Boudy Osinga.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 5550 S. Sumter Blvd., North Port, FL 34287 followed by Funeral Services at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, Florida.

Family and friends are invited to a reception at the Charlotte County Cultural Center, 2280 Aaron St., Port Charlotte, FL 33952 immediately after the services and interment.
