Inez was born to Kenneth and Alice Williams on August 21, 1937 in Jamaica, West Indies. Inez was a school teacher for 25 years at P.S. 272 in Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of Port Charlotte United Methodist Church. Inez enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Leo Jones; 2 daughters, Nadine (Michael) Salley of Port Charlotte and Dr. Chevaughn (Mhyrlito) Daniel of PA; her sisters and brothers, Doslyn, Leon, Mercadell, Olive, Ainsley, John, Joan, Pauline, Paulette, Kathleen, Elaine, Mazie, Kenneth Jr. and Sandra and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Leo Jones Jr.
Visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00AM, Friday, March 31, 2017 at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
