Iona C. Jackson, 91, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at her home in Port Charlotte.

Iona was born to Isaac and Henrietta Bennett on March 15, 1922 in Kingston, Jamaica. She was a member of United Evangelical Missionary Outreach for many years. She will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Claudine (Andre) Bowie of North Port, FL; a son, Donald Jackson of England; a granddaughter, Deanndra and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 9:00AM-10:00AM, Saturday, August 24, 2013 at United Evangelical Missionary Outreach, 4200 Juniper St. Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00AM at the church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, Florida.
