Jacqueline M. “Jacquie” MacDonald, 82, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Sunset Lake Village, Venice, Florida.

Jacqueline was born October 7, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Charles and Edna Marquette. She moved to Port Charlotte 44 years ago from Asbury Park, New Jersey. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Charlotte County Property Appraiser’s Office and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte.

She is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Christine V. MacDonald of Port Charlotte; two sons, Bruce D. MacDonald of Matthews, NC and Hugh F. “Skip” MacDonald, Jr. of Port Charlotte; a sister, Maureen Geier of Bethpage, NY; a brother, Charles Marquette of Cartersville, Georgia; and 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh F. “Mac” MacDonald who died in 2003.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 6-8 PM, August 28, 2013 with a Catholic Wake Service at 7:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 10:00 AM, August 29, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Interment and
committal services will be held Friday 11:00 AM, August 30, 2013 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
