Please accept my deepest sympathy. I was deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He and I had just made contact a couple of weeks ago. I fondly remember our school days and being in scouts with Jim. His mother was our den mother. Jim and I took music lessons together. I will always remember our days in the WJMB, the band camps, the many trios that he and I participated in, and the many hours of practice that we put in together. I know that he will be deeply missed by the family and his friends. May God comfort all of you at this time. And may Jim rest in peace. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace. God bless all of you, Del Holdash Friend, classmate, and fellow trumpeter.

Dear Theresa and Family, I have very fond memories of our years together in college, singing with Jim and Tom at the Gates of Eden coffeehouse. We were sure we wold be the next Peter, Paul and Mary. Jim stands out in my memory as one of the kindest and supportive men I've ever known. I am sure his family is greatly saddened by his passing, but I am also sure we share great memories. Much love, Sandy Vansuch

My Uncle Jim passed away this week. Born in 1946, he and my Aunt Theresa were married for 45 years. As family and friends gathered to pay our last respects, a common memory was found with all – Uncle Jim’s great sense of humor and big heart. I‘ve known Uncle Jim all my life and God couldn’t have created a better mentor for Jim’s friends and family. I am very sorry that I cannot be in Florida, and miss my family terribly. Please know that Diane, Tess, Anna and I have you in our prayers. Uncle Jim, The Davis’ love and miss you greatly. Love Michael
