Jane A. Phillips, 87, of North Port, Florida passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Charlotte Harbor Healthcare in Port Charlotte. She was born November 24, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio and moved to North Port with her husband John eleven years ago from Toledo. She was retired registered nurse.

She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Heather Downs Country Club and Brandywine Country Club all of Toledo. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.

Jane is survived by her loving family, her son Tom (wife- Lori) Phillips of Punta Gorda; a daughter, Cristine Fuller of Port Charlotte; five grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsey, Cody, Timothy J. and Aimee and three great grandchildren, Nathan, Troy and Andrew ; preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 yrs, John S. Phillips who passed away May 2011.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will be held at a later date by the family in Toledo.

I am sorry you have lost both of your parents this past year. My mother, Susie Hawkins, was the older sister of Aunt Doris. Jane took such good care of Aunt Doris, and my sister and I would see her when we came to visit at the nursing home. It was a nice picture, and I remember her as a lovley lady.
