JANET C. HUMBERTSON, 61, of Charlotte Harbor, Florida passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
She was born in Keyser, West Virginia to Virginia Ketterman Springer and the late David E. Springer. She was a project control engineer at Stone & Webster for over 40 years. During her life Janet lived in 20 states and called three places home, Rawlings, Maryland, Charlotte Harbor, Florida and Roscoe, New York. They were all places she loved being with her family and friends.
Janet is survived by her loving family, her companion, Sue Flynn; mother, Virginia Ketterman Taylor and step-Father, Thomas Taylor; sisters, Linda (Larry) Hurzon and Rita VanMeter; nephews, Larry VanMeter, Jr., Tim (Stephanie) VanMeter, Jason (Amy) VanMeter,
and Thomas “Buddy” (Dusti) VanMeter; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Alex, Kasey, Danica, Xavier and Brody; and special family Margaret Taylor and Helen Keller. And on the Flynn side of the family, Grace, Diane, Bobby, Alexa, Luke, Patty, Joe, Donna, Savanna, Dillon, Gina, Kathy, Lance, Lance, Regina, Aubrey, Britni, Matt, Matthew, Carla, John, Tricia, Olivia, Kyle and Braelyn.
Memorial services will be held Saturday October 19, 2013 at the Danville Church of the Brethren, Rawlings, MD with Pastor Sherri Ziler officiating. A memorial services will also be held in Roscoe, New York in June of 2014.
