Jeannette Ann (Frye) Lee, age 78, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, in Port Charlotte, Florida. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Jeannette will be remembered for her deep faith, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those around her.
Born on February 19, 1947, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Jeannette was the daughter of David Floyd Frye and Germaine Ernestine (Labbé) Frye. She was one of six siblings: Patricia Bertram (who passed away in 2024), Diane Riff, James Frye, Christine Frye, and Michelle Schwarz.
She was married to Richard Henry Lee, until his passing in 2010. Together, they raised three children: Andrea Isabelle Lucas, Michael David Lee, and Scott Edward Lee. Jeannette cherished her role as a grandmother to Ani Roman Torres, Elise Juliette Lussier, Cameron Jacob Lee, and Megan Olivia Lee, pouring her love and care into each generation.
Jeannette’s Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was passionate about her beliefs and loved to give back to her community by volunteering at her local church and food pantries. She found joy in helping others and lived out her values with quiet grace and kindness.
She also had a lifelong love of music, especially the Beatles, whose songs brought her joy throughout her life.
An intimate celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date for family and close friends in New England. Those who wish to be notified are invited to share their contact information with the family.
Jeannette’s memory will live on through the love she gave so freely and the example of service and faith she modeled. She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
