She was born August 27, 1923 in Tonawanda, New York to the late Wallace and Estelle Sommers. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1977 from N. Tonawanda with her husband Louis, who died in 2001. Jeretta was a retired owner and operator of a beauty shop in New York.
She is survived her son-in-law, Thomas Van Allen of Lakes Wales, Florida; several cousins; and friends Linda and Donald McIntosh. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela G. Van Allen and her husband Louis Szeles.
Private interment will be held at a later date in White Chapel Memorial Park, North Tonawanada, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to extend condolences and
