Joan C. Gentile, 83, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Life Care Center of Punta Gorda.
Joan was born October 14, 1936 in Bronx, New York to the late Joseph J. and Filomena Campus. She was retired Administrative Assistant for a paper company in New York. Joan moved to Florida in 2015 from New York and was of the Catholic faith.
She married her high school sweetheart Domenick G. Gentile in 1957. She enjoyed going to the beach at her vacation home in Mastic Beach NY, making Christmas bows, holiday decorating and entertaining her family and friends with her husband who predeceased her in 2014.
She is survived by her loving family, a son, Joseph J. Gentile and daughter-in-law, Denise M. Gentile of Punta Gorda; Sisters, Annette Ruocco, Theresa Branca, and Rose Marie Zabbia of Sarasota Fl, Marie Campus of Carmel NY and Rita Connolly of Port Chester NY; Grandchildren J.J. Gentile of Putnam Valley NY, Luci Anne Gentile of Punta Gorda Fl, Jessica Bishop and Eric Dominguez of Hopewell Junction NY. She is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews and 3 Great Grandchildren.
