She was born September 9, 1928 in Manchester, New Hampshire and moved to Port Charlotte nine years ago from there. Joan was a retired foster parent and an active member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church of Port Charlotte. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be missed but not forgotten.
Survived by two daughters, Linda Laliberte and Lisa Laliberte both of Port Charlotte; two sons, John Tran and Paul Korn both of Massachusetts; and a granddaughter, Patricia Ann Laliberte.
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday 11:00 AM, February 25, 2013 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joan’s memory may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, c/o of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 1441 Spear St., Port Charlotte, FL 33948
