Joan and Jerome had lived in Rotonda West, Florida, where they were retired after he sold real estate in Maryland and served in the federal government in Virginia. Joan had also lived in Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. Joan volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Rotonda West and attended Hope Lutheran Church in Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her son, Allan Lovelace of California; preceded in death by her husband Jerome.
There will be a graveside service 11:00 AM Friday, March 15, 2013 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
