Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia Longo; a son, Joseph Longo, Jr. of North Port, FL; a daughter, Christine Longo of Port Charlotte, FL; 2 brothers, Arthur Longo of Port Charlotte and Vincent Longo of Oceanside, NY; 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Kimberly, Katelyn and Joseph, III and 1 great-grandchild, Madison.

I loved him with all my heart and he was the sunshine in my rain. he brightened my day every single day. And i will think of him every second of my life. I cant wait to see my grand father again.
