Joseph Michael Picerno, 99, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at home in Port Charlotte, FL.
Joseph was born to Antonio and Millie Picerno on June 22, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA. Joseph was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the Port Charlotte Methodist Church in Port Charlotte. Joseph was a retired realtor for many years. He loved his family and friends and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his loving children, Raymond Picerno of Williamstown, NJ and his daughter, Dawn (Patrick) McLaughlin of Audubon, NJ; 3 grandchildren, Randy, Cristina and Jack; 1 great-grandchild, Lillian and many nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Joan Jarzomski.
Visitation will be held 1:00PM-2:00PM, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Ray, Dawn and family...I am so very sorry to hear of Uncle Joe's passing. He was an amazing man...so many talents, such a great man!!! The last time I saw him, he taught me something new...how to shop Sams club, buy veggies and freeze them. Who knew you could buy 2 heads of lettuce, wash and dry it, wrap it in paper towel and aluminum foil and freeze it....and it would last for months!!! Hated stuffed artichokes...this man taught me how to do it right...amazing!! Huge loss to the family, great loss to the country!! RIP Uncle Joe!!
