Josephine Rapisardi, 74, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at her home in Port Charlotte.

Josephine was born to Victor and Carmella Emovi on March 17, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and served as Sacristan at the Church for many years. Josephine was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie and Camille Knotts both of Port Charlotte; her son, Dominick Rapisardi of Punta Gorda, FL; a sister, Angie Pagano of Queens, NY; 4 grandchildren, Vicky, Jerry, Anthony and Christine and 4 great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Salvatore, Landon and Joseph. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Rapisardi.

Visitation will be held 2:00PM-4:00PM & 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, April 24, 2015 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL.
