Joyce was born October 31, 1940 in Hickory, Mississippi and moved to Port Charlotte 12 years ago from Portland, Oregon. She was a registered nurse for many years working at Desoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia, FL. She was a loving person with a heart of gold and will evermore be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her brother in law, Tom Miller of Ipswich, MA; a niece, Tasha and nephew, Christopher both of MA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Miller.
A Graveside Service and interment will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2011 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
