Juanita M. Maguire, 82, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died Friday, May 16, 2014 at Bayfront Health of Port Charlotte.
Born February 23, 1932 in Toms River, New Jersey to the late Gertrude and Delbert Johnson, Juanita formerly of Brick Township, New Jersey moved with her husband John, to Port Charlotte in 1973. She had 20 years banking experience in Port Charlotte ending with Bank of America as a Branch Manager. Juanita a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church was also Director of the Pregnancy Crisis Care Line in Port Charlotte for two years. Juanita was a vibrant, loving woman, wife, mother and grandmother who will be forever loved and remembered by family and friends alike.
Juanita is survived by her children, John P. Maguire, Jr., Diane Maguire, Karen Maguire Evans, William Maguire, and Mary Maguire; grandchildren, Shawn, Jimmy, Jason, Melissa, Tim, Rebecca, Melissa, Christine, Jenny, Julie, Sarah, Jennifer, Kevin Jr., Suzanne, AJ, Samuel, Elijah, Robert, Joseph, and Danielle; great grandchildren, Berklee, Hayden, Ava, Dejah, Jaylce, Taylor, Mackenzie, Conner, Bethany, Elijah, and Aaron Joseph. In addition to her parents and siblings, Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband John, and sons Kevin, Robert and Patrick.
A Memorial Mass for Juanita will be held 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. A private committal will be held at a later date.
