Judy Ann Smith, 56, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013.

Born on October 18, 1956 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Ruby Fern (nee – Lawson) and Charles Albert Poe. Judy Ann, a former Kansas State Transportation employee, moved to Charlotte County from her native Kansas City in 2010.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Wife Jennifer) Smith of Shawnee, KS; grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob and Chase Smith, and Sofey Aufner; sister, Linda Kay (Husband Bob) Campos of Port Charlotte, FL; nieces, Pamela (Husband DJ) Myers, and Melissa Campos; and nephew, Steven Campos. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by brothers James and LeRoy Fisher, and a grand-daughter, Kailey Smith.

A visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. this Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel. Services and burial will be held in Kansas City, Kansas.
