Julie Baker Richardson, 54 of Port Charlotte, Fla. died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Tidwell Hospice in Port Charlotte.

She was born Oct. 6, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri. Julie moved to Port Charlotte 25 years
ago and worked at WINK TV for seven years. She was an active member of the sisterhood of her
Synagogue, Temple Shalom.

Julie is survived by her husband, Rodger J.
Richardson ; and a son, Matthew L. Richardson,
both of Port Charlotte; a step-daughter, Tracy
Gibson of Overland Park, Kansas; a sister, Diane
Camac of Katonha, NY; a brother, Dr. Steven S.
Baker of Port Charlotte; and two grandchildren,
Zane and Mary Gibson.

When I moved to Florida in August of 2007, Julie was my next door neighbor. I was alone, so Julie took it upon herself to invite me to dinner almost every night. We became close friends and had so much fun together. She made me part of her family. Julie was very special to all who knew her. Her passing has left a hole in my heart.
