JUNE ANN NISI, 84, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.

June was born June 25, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ralph C. and Clara S. Saul. She was a retired registered nurse and moved to Port Charlotte from Miami, Florida in 1959 with her husband Dr. Fred Paul Nisi. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte. She remained humbled and strong and completely devoted to her faith and her family. June was a person her family admired and adored. Her light is gone from this Earth, but we know it’s lighting up Heaven. Her spirit lives on in her children and grandchildren and she will never be forgotten.

June is survived by her loving family, her husband of 58 years, Dr. Fred P. Nisi of Port Charlotte; six daughters, Cynthia Yount (Alan) of Auburn, AL, Anita Pruschen of Port Charlotte, Paula Cordes (Danny) of Trussville, AL, Melinda Coonrod (Stephen) of Tallahassee, FL, Donna Nisi of Port Charlotte and Lisa Mrha of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a son Mark Nisi of Port Charlotte; and ten grandchildren, Nicholas Yount, Christopher Cordes, Alexis Yount, Amanda Moses, Elizabeth Smith, Jordan Mrha, Christina Coonrod, Kelly Coonrod, Carly Mrha and Amanda Coonrod.

A Funeral Mass with a Memorial Garden burial to be held 11:00AM, Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
