Charvian Edens left a message on November 1, 2008:
I am so sorry for your loss, and extend my sincere condolences to your family. Although I did not know Miss June personally, her obituary clearly indicates that she was loved and cherished and will be sorely missed by many. It is painful losing such dear ones to death for we want to live and enjoy life with those we love. But the wonderful hope found in the scriptures can be a source of comfort to us, as it reassures us that we can see our loved ones again. The Bible teaches that most people who have died will be resurrected. Jesus Christ himself promised that those in the memorial tombs will...come out. (John 5:28, 29) In harmony with God's original purpose, those resurrected humans will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth. (Luke 23:43) This promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans. The Bible reassures us that the righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it. (Psalm 37:29) Other scriptures that bear witness to this are Job 14:14, 15; Luke 7:11-17; and Acts 24:15. Please take comfort in this hope and the future joy it holds out to your family. May you continue to receive an abundance of love and emotional support through this difficult period. Most sincerely, Charvian Edens
