Kathleen Lucretia Trp, 67, of Port Charlotte, Florida was with her loving family as she passed away peacefully at her home on December 18, 2019.

She was born the youngest of four children in Chicago, Illinois on December 11, 1952; Kathleen came to Port Charlotte in the early 70’s. She owned a clothing store named Kate’s in the early 80’s, and also helped manage Tri-County Drywall for many years. She loved her family and she lived for her children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and hosting parties for family events and holidays.

Kathleen had 5 children, and 8 grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings; Raymond Trp of Rotonda West, FL, Adrienne Cambereri of Punta Gorda, FL, and John Trp of Chicago, IL; and her loving children; Matthew Parra, Adrienne Spittler, Clayton Spittler, Brigette Spittler, and Nicholas Trp all of Port Charlotte, FL. She was preceded in death by a son, Adam Spittler in 1989. They can now be reunited in heaven. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Memorial services and a gathering celebrating the life of Kathleen will be held Saturday, January 18, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Deep Creek Elks Lodge, 1133 Capricorn Blvd., Punta Gorda, FL 33983.
