Philip J and Joan M Tirino left a message on May 12, 2011:
We met Ken through his wife Donnatela who was our Italian Teacher for several periods at the Port Charlotte Cultural Center. Ken and Donna introduced us to the music scene throughout Charlotte and Sarasota counties. Ken's interest covered a wide range of music from classical to Jazz. Ken was a patron of the musical arts and was responsible for organizing many recitals and presentations for all to enjoy. He and Donna often invited us to various presentations which was usually followed by an enjoyable dinner and a few drinks. We invited them to our home as they often invited us to theirs. Ken donated from time to time to various music oriented organizations such as the Charlotte County Jazz Society. Sadly, there will be far many fewer musical presentations and evenings of entertainment than there otherwise might have been had Ken gone on. We will miss him as we missed Donna and are deeply saddened by his untimely passing. He and Donna were especially kind to us and will always be thought of fondly in our memories and prayers.

I am deeply saddend to hear of Kens Passing. Ken was the first person that I met at Combustion Engineering in CT. He was my first Mentor and I learned a great deal from him and am thankful that he was around to show me the ropes. I enjoyed Ken both personally and professionally, for many years, and will always remember him fondly. With Deepest Sympathy John Fracasso Hartford Ct
