Kevin Michael Burke, 59 of Port Charlotte, FL went home to Our Lord and Savior Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Bayfront Hospital.
Kevin was born in Jamaica, NY to Thomas and Joan Burke on October 8, 1960. Kevin will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his unconditional love for his family and kind heart. He was a retired IBEW Local 3Electrician. Kevin enjoyed fishing, volunteering at the elementary school, coaching baseball & helping the kids that he coached/mentored to succeed. He was a Third Degree Knight and an Emmaus brother.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia, daughter: Victoria Siobhan, son: Patrick Thomas ( wife, Kristina). As well as his sisters: Eileen (husband, Joseph ), Lori, and brothers: Thomas and Michael (wife, Karen), nieces: Amanda and Caitlin, and nephews: Christopher (Valerie), Brian(Tammy),Thomas, Michael, and Matthew, great nephew: Gavin, and great niece: Karleigh and uncle: Frank Lembo, and best friend, Nick Dubanos. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, MaryEllen.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00PM, Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Social distancing will be practiced. The Burke family would appreciate adhering to the guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety.

My sweet 'Kevo' ..you always asked me if I was the bug or the windshield...and even though you were in pain most of the time I saw you..you always smiled always laughed and always asked about my kids and grandbabies...you showed me pics of your kids and you had to be one of the most proudest fathers I've ever known...you will be missed so much...I wish I could have had a Kevin hug one more time...my dear friend who taught me how to make London broil...I will think of u often and love u always...not just your hairstylist but family..

Kevin you were called home way too young. It’s hard to understand why but we trust our Lord and his plans for you as an Angel. Over the years we became disconnected and for that I apologize. Life moves fast and so it’s easy to lose tract and be disconnected. Different priorities, family engagements, distance, etc, however, your were always in my mind. Often I’d think of some event that we shared and laughed. Our time together in Binghamton, camping in Ithaca, getting stranded in NC for one week because of a snowstorm. All those wonderful memories will always make me smile. Your love, generosity, passion for life, your love for family and friends, your laughter and sense of humor., your smile. Oh so much to list! You will be missed, but never forgotten. You’ll always have a place in my heart! Continue to guide and protect your loved ones. I’m going to miss you. One final hug and love from me to you! Love you! You will be dearly missed Kevin. My favorite memory of him is all the time he spent at Kingsway helping the students to better themselves. He was always there helping at all the schools events.
