I remember as a child, listening to you talking about being a pilot. I thought that was the coolest thing ever! I believe the last time we talked, it was about the A380 Airbus. You will be missed, but we will see you on the other side. You will no longer have the limitations of your body. I remember the morning of your funeral thinking, you will be playing in Heaven with Sharron. Even though you weren't really my uncle, I always thought of you as such. Just as much as your brother, my Uncle Dick, is my uncle. May God comfort Aunt Gwen in her difficult time. I Love you uncle Larry. - Jeff

Dear Larry (Dad #2) We will cherish you always - your soft and kind spirit, your kindness, and your wonderful sense of humor. You will always be the undefeated BBQ champ and the best hugger in the world. We cherish the memories of you and Gwen, for standing in for our parents at our Wedding Ceremony. We can attest to the undisputed fact that you have left a beautiful, loving and profound legacy behind. There is no person who knew you in this world who would have an unkind word to say about you. Thank you for being a role model of honor and respect to us. We will love you... always.

My Uncle Larry was someone I always admired. I loved his laugh, humor, courage and passion for his career. At family gatherings you could always count on true stories of adventure that came with the life of an international pilot. I have to wonder…..when Uncle Larry’s spirit flew once again, leaving the gravity of earth, rising through the thick clouds…piercing up above to the warm light of the sun to then reach his destination by touching the face of god….how familiar and joyous it must have been for him to fly once again. We love you Uncle Larry and will truly miss you.
