Laura A. Lagano, a long-time resident of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at age 59, on August 21, 2022, following a chronic illness. She was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on March 24, 1963 to the late Richard and Rosemary (Villanella) Lagano.

Today, our hearts are broken as we all mourn the loss of our beloved sister, Laura. Throughout much of her life, she suffered numerous struggles secondary to her illness. Despite enormous challenges, she was a warrior who strove to reach the other side of the rainbow.

We will all greatly miss her perseverance in the face of adversity, and her empathy toward those less fortunate than herself.

Laura is survived by her daughter Nicole, sister’s Sasha and Marcella, brother’s Richard, Anthony, and Jason, along with four grandchildren.
