Born Lavina M. Sirl on August 1, 1910 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Michael and Rose Sirl, Lavina, a retired secretary and receptionist, relocated from Middleburg Heights to Port Charlotte with her husband Adelbert Geib in 1971. A parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, she was also a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Legion of Mary Ushers, and an active St. Vincent de Paul Society and Peace River Regional Medical Center volunteer.
She is survived by her beloved sons Roger J. Geib of Port Charlotte, and Jack (wife Dottie) Geib of Elyria, OH; two grand and three great grandchildren. Lavina was preceded in death by her beloved husband Adelbert in 1974.
