Born February 28, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, Leilani was one of the top models for the Patricia Stevens Agency in Chicago during the 1960’s. She appeared in many high fashion magazines of the time.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Eugene, son Matthew (Ann) Ponzi, daughters, Vanessa Ponzi and Andrea (Dane) Chamorro, and seven grand children, Stephan, Elena, Taylor, Jack, Anthony, Marie and Joseph.
Services for Leilani will be held at a later date in the Chicago area.
In lieu of flowers, memorial bequests in Leilani’s name are suggested to St. Labre Indian School, 1000 Tongue River Rd., Ashland, MT 59003.
