He was born February 3, 1923 in Menominee, Michigan to the late Lee and Elsie Barth. Leslie was the retired owner & operator of a music store in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and moved to Port Charlotte in 1975. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient.
He is survived by his loving family, two daughters, Patricia A. Shatto of Cape Coral, FL and Mary Lou Kohlman of Plymouth, WI; a son, Richard Lee Todd-Barth of Omro, WI; 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys M. Barth, who died in 2011, a brother and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be held Monday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM, Sept. 17th at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 11:00 AM, Sept. 17, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Ave, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. Interment with military honors by a U.S. Army Honor Guard will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
