Born Lillian Alexander on October 19, 1916 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Lillian nee-Goldbeck and Stratmore Alexander, Lillian, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, moved from Abington in her native Pennsylvania to Punta Gorda in 1981 before eventually moving to Port Charlotte. She was a lifelong Methodist.
She is survived by a son, C. Richard Williams, MD of Duxbury, MA; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her late parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Chester Williams, and daughter, Judith “Judy” A. Monteleone.
No public services are planned. A private committal will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Punta Gorda Chapel.
