Linda D. Brody of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 60, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones who will carry forward her legacy by living their lives with the same fullness and joy she inspired.
Linda graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Elementary Education and devoted herself to helping children learn and grow. She cherished her hobby farm, where she lovingly raised goats and chickens, meticulously handcrafted soaps, lotions, and skincare products, and cultivated an abundant garden.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, celebrated for her immense kindness and compassionate nature. Her unwavering perseverance inspired many. Always the first to extend a helping hand to those in need, she embodied her faith in every aspect of her life.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Michael; her sons, Jonathan, Nicholas, and Christian; her daughters-in-law, Cynthia and Nicole; her grandchildren, Mari, Sadie, and Noah; her father, Bob; and her brother, Wayne.
A funeral service will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on October 4, 2024, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
