Linda A. Kelly, 68, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Wednesday, May 23, 2007
at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte.
She was born November 5, 1938 in Irvington, New Jersey and moved to Port Charlotte from East Greenwich, Rhode Island in 1996. She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Master’s Degree in Physics. Mrs. Kelly was a retired design and development engineer for Electric Boat Co. of Groton, Connecticut. Linus Quilting Club of Port Charlotte and former member and past president of the
New Floridians Club of Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 29 years, William J.
Kelly of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Kathleen Kinsey of Paradise, CA and
Elizabeth Mosher of Juneau, AK; a son, Brian Hooper of Ashburn, VA; a sister, Louise Minkus of East Stroudsburg, PA; a niece, Louise Pezzutti of Tampa, FL; a nephew, Herb
Minkus of New Jersey; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
